I've deleted a folder in Outlook. Why is it still in the web interface?

If the folder was initially created through the web interface and deleted in Outlook, the folder subscription list does not always get updated. To remove the folder from the web interface folder list:

  • Log into your mail account through the web interface.
  • Go into the account's settings page.
  • Click on Folders (or Subscriptions).
  • Locate in the Folder Subscription list the name of the folder you have deleted.
  • Remove the errant entry and click Update (or Save).
