Effective January 1, 2001, we will no longer be able to officially support the WordPerfect word processor. All CFAES faculty and staff and completely free to use Word Perfect, but we will no longer offer classes or in depth phone support for the product. The Microsoft's and the University's agreement to sell the Microsoft Buckeye Bundle at a special price has shifted most university users to Word.

We have surveyed and consulted with the district support people, as well as select office Word Perfect users around the state, to determine how to best accomplish this migration.

We will offer special courses detailing how to migrate your office projects, documents, and word processing functions from Word Perfect to Microsoft Word.

Check the Course Offerings listing for upcoming classes.

In addition, we will be distributing, free of charge, the remainder of our inventory of Word Perfect course books through the District Support people for dispersal among those interested in the County offices.
